Wellington Regional Medical Center is introducing a new way to make patients feel better by offering spa and salon treatments at bedside and on the hospital campus in a salon setting.
The fee-based service is called Beauty on the Spot, offering hair styling, nail treatments, massages and facials by appointment.
On Thursday, Jan. 30, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., patients, employees, physicians and more are invited to attend the launch party and experience the new service by receiving free hand paraffin treatments and massages.
“Wellness is about feeling better, and this is an opportunity to offer a service to our patients that allows them to feel better about themselves,” said Kylie Rowlands, director of obstetrics and the NICU at WRMC.
