The Wellington High School wrestling team completed its best season in school history by placing 12th at the state wrestling tournament. Led by their senior captains Briar Macfarlane (fifth place), Nik Bonadies (third place) and Brandon Paz (third place), the Wolverines capped off a great season after capturing titles at the conference, county and district tournaments before placing second at the regional tournament.
