Loxahatchee Groves Elementary School will hold its annual carnival on Saturday, May 17 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The free event will feature fun for the whole family.
There will be games, rides, a plant sale, local entertainment and lots of food. Additionally, there will be a silent auction, which will feature items and services from local businesses, as well as themed classroom baskets.
Anyone who donates an item or a service will be recognized by the Parent Teacher Organization. Silent auction donations must be made by May 12. All donations are tax deductible.
Tickets for rides and games can be purchased before the carnival at a discount. Tickets will also be sold during the carnival. Vendors are still needed and cost $50 per space. Vendors must bring their own table, tent, chairs and other supplies.
All proceeds go directly to the children, teachers and school to provide resources and materials that are needed in the classroom. Loxahatchee Groves Elementary School is located at 16020 Okeechobee Blvd. For more information, call Candi at (561) 904-9200.
