You may have noticed that the Berkshire neighborhood playground has a new rubber playing surface. The Village of Wellington completed the upgrade on April 28.
A resurfacing project at Field of Dreams Park has begun and should be completed within 7 to 10 days. Resurfacing is also scheduled to take place in the following neighborhood parks: Summerwood, Block Island, Primrose, Brampton Cove, Staimford, Dorchester and Foresteria.
Preparations for the installation of the new pour-in-place rubber surface and the rubber surface installation process will take approximately two weeks per park. During this process, only the playground area of each park will be closed. Other park amenities will remain open to the public.
