Talia Fradkin of Wellington received the 2014 Student of the Year Award from Florida Virtual School. It is the highest award bestowed on a student.
The award is based on academic achievement and community service, as well as school and community involvement. This is the second Student of the Year Award for Fradkin. Fradkin also received the Community Service Award for the many hours she devoted to tutoring students in algebra, geometry and chemistry.
Additionally, Fradkin placed first in the Southeast Regional Division for the Daughters of the American Revolution Junior American Citizens Poetry Contest.
