The Palm Beach County School District’s School Food Service Department Annual Report recently won the Sunshine Medallion Award from the Sunshine State School Public Relations Association (SUNSPRA).
SUNSPRA sponsors the award to recognize the hard work of Florida school districts through the School Public Relations Recognition Program.
The mission of the School Food Service Department is to provide a variety of appealing and nutritious meals with the purpose of supporting student performance in a safe and effective manner.
The School Food Service Department Annual Report won in the PR and Publications Category. The report is created every year summarizing the activities and programs School Food Service administered during the year. Last year, the report was developed with a web-based design.
The Sunshine Medallion Award was presented during the Florida Association of School Administrators (FASA) Summer Conference on Tuesday, June 17.
