The Palms West Amateur Radio Club took part in a nationwide Field Day exercise last weekend at the Osceola Pavilion in Okeeheelee Park. Ham radio operators attempted to make as many contacts as possible in the United States and internationally over a 24-hour period using only generated emergency power.
