The Mall at Wellington Green’s MallStars Kids Club will host “What I Want to Be When I Grow Up” on Saturday, Aug. 9 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the Grand Court.
Sponsored by Wellington Regional Medical Center and the Renaissance Charter School at Wellington, children are encouraged to dress up for their chosen profession while they have the opportunity to meet local professionals in different careers. There will also be back-to-school giveaways and a live show by musician Patty Shukla.
In addition, from Aug. 1 to Aug. 18, the mall is giving back to local schools. Every dollar spent at the mall could earn money for the school of your choice. The Mall at Wellington Green will donate $2,500, $1,500 and $1,000 to the top three schools. Receipts must be registered at the Guest Services Desk for purchases to count toward the promotion.
