The Wellington gymnasiums at Village Park on Pierson Road will be closed beginning Thursday, Aug. 28 through Monday, Sept. 1 in observance of the Labor Day holiday.
As in past years, during this time, annual scheduled maintenance will be performed on the gym floor surfaces. The gyms will re-open on Tuesday, Sept. 2 for regular programming.
Program registrations can be done online at www.wellingtonfl.gov or at the Wellington Community Center (12150 W. Forest Hill Blvd.) during the closure.
Also, Wellington’s Olympia Park and Tiger Shark Cove ball fields will be closed for the Labor Day holiday on Monday, Sept. 1.
The Village Park outside areas and restrooms only, the Tiger Shark Cove Park playground, Scott’s Place playground, the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Everglades Habitat and Wellington Green Park will be open until 5 p.m.
