The National Speech & Debate Association recently awarded Royal Palm Beach High School’s speech and debate program membership into its prestigious 100 Club.
Last season, the team’s students earned points and degrees based on competitive and service-related activities. These earnings ranked the Wildcats among the top 10 percent of schools nationwide.
“This milestone is remarkable because it demonstrates outstanding commitment to teaching students essential life skills — including communication, research, listening, writing and organization,” NSDA Executive Director J. Scott Wunn said. “The hard work you have invested to achieve this distinction will pay dividends for years to come — empowering students to become engaged citizens, skilled professionals, and honorable leaders in our global society.”
