The Wellington Wrestling Club traveled to Olympic Heights High School on Saturday to compete in the fall wrestling tournament.
Wellington had a successful day, taking home seven gold medals and four silver medals.
Champions for Wellington were: Jared Abramson, Bailey Laster, Chakiris Townsend, A.J. Lopez, Chris Connor, Josue Arce and Roland Kupoluyi. Second place finishers were: Cristian Salazar, Jacob Treanor, Mykala Carter and Jareth Buccilli.
The Wellington Wrestling Club will begin the winter wrestling session on Oct. 27. The club is open to all kids in kindergarten through eighth grade.
