New Horizons Elementary School fourth-grade students recently participated in “Boot Camp” in preparation for the Florida Standards Assessment. They had fun while building stamina by completing numerous reading and math activities in a given time. They also learned and practiced various test-taking reading strategies, including compare/contrast, problem/solution, cause/effect and sequencing.
