Wellington Elementary School participated in “Celebrate Literacy Week, Florida!” during the week of Jan. 26-30. This is the state’s seventh annual Literacy Week, sponsored by the Florida Department of Education and Just Read Florida. Principal Dr. Maria Vaughan read Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus and Time to Sleep to Mrs. Sheila Frey’s Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten class.
