Western Pines Middle School presented its third annual Fine Arts Festival on Thursday, May 7 in the school cafeteria. It was a great opportunity to view the fine arts, academies and language arts programs offered at the Acreage-area school. The event included artwork, information technology projects, poetry and creative writing, as well as a performance by the jazz band. The event included a silent auction, and proceeds benefited the school’s media center and ROAR initiative.
