At an awards ceremony held in Orlando, Wellington resident Talia Fradkin was named Florida Virtual School Student of the Year.
The award is based on academic achievement and involvement in school and community activities.
An active member of many clubs, Fradkin also serves on the student council and is a student legislative ambassador for Florida Virtual School.
This is the third student of the year award for Fradkin. In addition, Fradkin was also named the first-place recipient of the 2015 Florida Virtual School Top Volunteer Award for the most number of volunteer hours, as well as her commitment and dedication to helping others.
