Wellington’s Community Services Department is partnering with Palm Beach County Fire-Rescue, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office and the Neil S. Hirsch Family Boys & Girls Club to host a “Texting and Driving Informational Session” on Tuesday, Aug. 25 at 6 p.m.
The informational session will take place at the Neil S. Hirsch Family Boys & Girls Club, located at 1080 Wellington Trace. The PBSO will educate residents on the dangers of texting and driving. PBCFR will carry out an extraction demonstration, showing residents what it takes to save a life as a result of a texting and driving accident.
