Wellington’s Community Services Department gave out backpacks filled with school supplies and more than 200 pairs of shoes on Friday, Aug. 14. The giveaway was the result of a partnership between the Community Services Department, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, the Christopher Aguirre Memorial Foundation, the Lake Worth Scottish Rite Masonic Center, B/E Aerospace and the Neil S. Hirsch Family Boys & Girls Club.
