The students were eager to start at Wellington Elementary School. The first day of school was on Aug. 17, and the school was filled with excited students. Principal Dr. Maria Vaughan and Assistant Principal Kim Harrington, along with the rest of the staff, greeted students. Safety patrol members were at their assigned posts, teachers were happy to get to know their students and school activities and clubs were being talked about.
