School District Hires New E-Waste Vendor

The School District of Palm Beach County recently awarded Southeastern Data, based in Longwood, Fla., with the winning bid for services related to the disposal and management of the district’s e-waste from its system of 185-plus public schools. Southeastern Data has been providing data security and e-recycling services to schools, businesses, government offices and other organizations throughout Florida and in several other states since 1996.

Michael Stubblebine, president of Southeastern Data, is pleased to have been awarded the contract. “We have been providing computer and electronics recycling services to organizations in South Florida and saw a need for both a safe and sustainable way of disposing of electronic waste for the schools county wide,” he said.

Southeastern Data is implementing the e-waste management program without delay. It began providing services to the district in July. To learn more, visit www.southeasterndata.com.
