Wellington resident Talia Fradkin, a student at the Palm Beach Virtual School, has been named a semifinalist in the 2016 National Merit Scholarship Program. High school juniors take the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT) in order to compete for the honor.
Fradkin has received numerous awards for academic excellence and volunteer work, including two presidential awards for volunteer service. She is a three-time recipient of the student of the year award and is in her second term as co-chair of Palm Beach Virtual School’s School Advisory Council.
