Our Lady Queen of the Apostles Catholic Church in Royal Palm Beach held a Blessing of the Animals on Sunday, Oct. 4 in the parking lot by the statue of St. Francis of Assisi. The Feast Day of St. Francis, patron saint of animals, is observed on Oct. 4. Parishioners brought dogs, cats, bunnies and birds to receive a blessing.
