At Royal Palm Beach High School’s football game Friday, Oct. 16, there was a special ceremony to honor retiring Mayor Matty Mattioli. After six years as mayor and more than 20 years as an elected official in Royal Palm Beach, Mattioli will be retiring in March. He was presented with a proclamation and a plaque.
