Halloween will arrive a few days early in Wellington when the village’s Community Services Department joins with the Wellington High School DECA Club on Saturday, Oct. 24 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. for a free Trunk or Treat event in the WHS student parking lot, located at 2101 Greenview Shores Blvd.
Returning for its seventh year, Trunk or Treat is a safe, family-friendly twist on trick-or-treating. Volunteers will decorate their vehicles and distribute Halloween treats out of their trunks. Children ages 10 and under are invited to go from vehicle to vehicle and collect treats.
