The Wellington Red Sox Minors won the championship with a 13-3 win over the Rockies on Saturday, Nov. 14. The team played for 12 weeks during the regular season, finishing in first place with a 10-2 record. They defeated the Mets 6-5 in a hard-fought semifinal game on Wednesday, Nov. 11 to reach the championship. Many of the players had never played before this season.
