Women of the Western Communities held its holiday meeting on Thursday, Dec. 3 at the Wanderers Club in Wellington. There was a buffet dinner, along with a fundraising Chinese auction. Toys were collected for kids at YWCA Harmony House. Members bid farewell to longtime member Marge Specht, who is retiring and moving away. The group’s next meeting is set for Wednesday, Jan. 6.
