11 RPBHS DECA Students Qualify For States

The largest group of Royal Palm Beach High School students in school history has qualified for the DECA state competition in March. Eleven of Melissa Basinger’s students will compete in eight different categories. Highlighting the Wildcats’ success at the district competition were third-place finishes from Alicia Harrison in Principles of Marketing, Gianni Nailor in Professional Selling, and Crichanni Watson and Chanel Rennie in Business Law Ethics Team Decision Making. Other notable finishes came from Luke Hollander, Dejon Jackson, Danielle Fearon, Gevaughn Lewis, Alex Micciche, Kate Kollar-Dye and Jahmir Russell.
