The Village of Wellington will host a workshop to educate residents on how they are impacted by the Fair Housing Act of 1988, the Americans With Disabilities Act of 1990 and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
The workshop will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 3 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Community Services Department Conference Room at 1092 Wellington Trace.
Representatives from the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County will present information on the federal laws and explain their differences and similarities. Workshop attendees will have the opportunity to ask the questions.
The workshop is free and open to all Wellington residents, but seating is limited. Interested residents are encouraged to RSVP to Angie Butler at (561) 791-4720.
