Crestwood Middle School teacher Marque Drummond took some students to an event where they could practice good citizenship. Drummond’s students volunteered at the Palm Beach County Kick Asphalt 5K Run/Walk at Okeeheelee Park on Saturday, Jan. 23. The students manned water stations and directed the race path. The students gave up their own time on an early Saturday morning to help others. Drummond is trying to foster in the students that it is important to give back to the community and teach them what it takes to become a good citizen.
