Royal Palm Beach High School hosted AVID District Awareness Day on Thursday, Jan. 28. AVID is a global nonprofit organization dedicated to closing the achievement gap by preparing all students for college and other post-secondary opportunities. Guests included Area Superintendent Frank Rodriquez, School Board Member Marcia Andrews, parents and teachers. The event included a catered breakfast, followed by AVID students speaking about its positive impact on their lives.
