Allyson Nicole Miller, a 2012 graduate of Palm Beach Central High School and a current Florida Atlantic University student, is due to graduate with honors on May 6 with a double major in neuroscience and criminal justice. She has been accepted into FAU’s graduate school studying higher education learning and plans to attend medical school after completing her master’s degree.
Miller is a member of the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority at FAU. On Jan. 30, she was awarded the Dorothy Shaw Leadership Award, which is the highest individual honor given to a collegiate member of Alpha Delta Pi. Established in 1950, this award is in memory of Dorothy Piermont Shawn. Women chosen to receive this honor exemplify high scholarship, devotion to their chapters, and outstanding leadership on campus and in the community.
Miller is the daughter of Dean and Dori Miller of Wellington.
