In competition March 4–5 at the state wrestling championships, Seminole Ridge High School placed in the top quartile of the more than 80 schools represented, better than any other county team its size, and the best in school history. Wrestlers Francisco Farr (120 lbs.) and Jarrod Smiley (152 lbs.) brought home medals, placing fifth in their weight classes.
