On Monday, April 11, committee members of the fourth annual “An Evening of Great Expectations” gathered at Jordan’s Steak Bistro in Wellington to celebrate the successful event.
The event at the International Polo Club on March 11 raised more than $72,000, almost $20,000 more than the previous year, for Grandma’s Place and St. David’s-in-the-Pines Episcopal Church.
Attending were Father Steven and Erin Thomas, Karen Vaughan, Roxanne Jacobs, Laurie Martuscello, Joan Alvaro, and Lynn and Brian Vega. Members who could not attend were Sue Ashe, Shirley Brown, Karlene Kiminyo, Page Tredennick, Amy and Tim Whitby, and Joan O’Connell.
