The Berean Christian School secondary school theater group will perform Mary Poppins on April 14 and April 15 with shows beginning at 7 p.m. The play is a culmination of several months of hard work with students memorizing lines, learning choreography and strengthening acting skills.
In addition to the performer’s preparation, many hours were dedicated to building impressive sets that will enhance the overall performance. One highlight of the behind-the-scenes preparation includes senior Elena Bockman-Pedersen’s creation of all of the costumes in this production. She utilized her gifts and talents to design and compile each actor’s attire. She is also playing the lead role, Mary Poppins.
