One of the biggest Earth Festivals in Florida took place on Saturday, April 23 at University Woodlands Park in Boca Raton. Alexia Dubocq (aka Alix Who?) was the only Wellington resident invited to perform at the event.
Dubocq also jammed with Remerge and the Islanders, and delighted the audience for an hour with acoustic versions of “Thriller” and “Intoxicated.”
David C. VanCamp, president and organizer of the event for the last three years, saw Dubocq for the first time at the BBAD Boynton Beach Art Walk Festival, where she performed, and became a fan.
“I love Alix’s voice, and I can hardly wait to hear her perform again,” VanCamp said. “She is a very talented young musician with her own style.”
