Wellington’s Community Services Department will hold a Combined Neighborhood Watch Meeting to include all of the village’s Neighborhood Watch groups. The meeting will take place on Wednesday, May 18 beginning at 6 p.m. in the gymnasium at Village Park, located at 11700 Pierson Road.
Neighborhood advocates and Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office deputies will be on hand to discuss summer safety and community crime trends, as well as offer crime prevention tips. A guest speaker from Palm Beach County Fire-Rescue’s Education Unit will discuss programs such as yellow dot, pet fire safety, car seat check, slip and fall, first aid and CPR.
