The Royal Palm Bassmasters held a fishing tournament June 12 on Lake Okeechobee out of the J&S Boat Ramp.
First place was won by the team of Mike and J.R. O’Connor, with five fish weighing 17 pounds, 13 ounces.
Second place was awarded to the team of Rick and Roxanne Rickenbach, with five fish weighing 16 pounds, 15 ounces.
The team of Rick Eaton and Bill Latham took third place, with five fish weighing 16 pounds, 8 ounces.
The big fish of the tournament was 8 pounds, 9 ounces, caught by the team of Rick Eaton and Bill Latham.
