There will be a Boy Scout car wash fundraiser to support Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse (AVDA) on Saturday, Aug. 20 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Peter’s United Methodist Church (12200 W. Forest Hill Blvd., Wellington). A $5 donation is requested.
The scouts will also be collecting supplies, such as body wash/soap, shampoo, conditioner, mouthwash, deodorant, disposable razors, baby shampoo/body wash, formula, diapers/pull-ups, new baby clothing and sippy cups. Donations can also be made online at www.gofundme.com/MattEagle2016.
