The Palm Beach County AT&T Pioneers recently donated about 500 pounds (or $700 worth) of pet food to Peggy’s Pantry at the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League. Peggy’s Pantry helps struggling families in Palm Beach County feed their pets. The AT&T Pioneers, through their pet food drive, provided the community pet food bank with nearly 300 cans of cat food, more than 40 bags of dry cat food, 130-plus cans of dog food, 25 bags of dry dog food, 10 bags of dog treats and five bags of kitty litter. The Pioneers are a nonprofit network of retired and active AT&T employee volunteers who donate their time and money to local causes. Above (L-R), AT&T Pioneers Donna Dugan, Denise Caruso, Gayle Gilbert and Louise Zehdner deliver the hundreds of cans and bags of dog and cat food to Peggy’s Pantry.
