New Horizons Elementary School recently held its first evening of Parent University training designed to familiarize parents with the technology that their students use at school each day. This hands-on training allowed the 60-plus parents in attendance to log in to laptop computers and navigate Edline, iReady, iStation in Espanol, Learn Zillion and other resources that are available to students. Response to the training was positive, and the school is planning the next event in November to help parents assist their children with homework.
