The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s annual Light The Night Walk will take place Friday, Nov. 18 at the Meyer Amphitheater in downtown West Palm Beach. Registration will open at 5:30 p.m., and walkers will take to the streets at 7 p.m.
LLS chapters throughout the United States and Canada will host Light The Night Walks in communities this fall. For the two-mile evening walk, all supporters will carry an illuminated red lantern, while cancer patients and survivors carry illuminated white lanterns, and illuminated gold lanterns are carried in memory of loved ones lost to cancer.
The event raises money to help support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s mission of finding a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and to improving the quality of life of patients and their families.
