Wellington Cares hosted its second annual luncheon on Friday, Nov. 4 at the Wanderers Club in Wellington. This year’s keynote speaker was bestselling author Kathleen Grace. Her latest book, Prince Not So Charming; Cinderella’s Guide to Financial Independence, is a call to action that will inspire and empower you to take control of your finances. The event also featured a silent auction. Wellington Cares is a community-based, not-for-profit organization committed to coordinating volunteers of all ages to assist in enabling residents over the age of 65 to remain in their homes.
