Wellington Winterfest will be held Saturday, Dec. 3 at the Wellington Amphitheater (12100 W. Forest Hill Blvd.) from 5 to 10 p.m. Hosted by the Wellington Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the Village of Wellington, the event features musical and dance performances by local talent, more than 50 exhibitors and special guest Vanilla Ice.
Complimentary shuttles will begin at 5:30 p.m. from the original Wellington Mall (12794 W. Forest Hill Blvd.). Guests should park by the main entrance, and not in the Checkers or Boston Market lots. Shuttles will also run from the First Baptist Church of Wellington (12700 W. Forest Hill Blvd.) and the Wellington library (1951 Royal Fern Drive).
A park and walk option is available at St. Peter’s United Methodist Church (12200 W. Forest Hill Blvd.) with alternative parking at the Chancellor Corporate Center (12008/12012 South Shore Blvd.).
Winterfest guests are warned not to park at the Shoppes at Chancellor or the Town Square Publix plaza at Forest Hill and South Shore boulevards.
