The 27th annual Wellington Children’s Holiday Fishing Classic was held on Saturday, Dec. 16 on Lake Wellington, behind the Wellington Community Center. The free fishing tournament was presented by the Village of Wellington, in conjunction with the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission. Trophies were awarded for first, second and third place based on the total weight of fish caught and released in each age group.
