The Village of Wellington was recently recognized as a Certified Green Local Government, earning the Highest Score Award for 2017 from the Florida Green Building Coalition. On Tuesday, April 23, the Wellington Village Council honored Brandon Miller for his work on the issue. Miller is the project manager for Wellington’s sustainability efforts. He accepted the award on Wellington’s behalf. Miller gave credit to Wellington’s sustainability and efficiency, and to the efforts of the village staff and residents who work hard to keep Wellington environmentally conscious.
