The Mid-County Chapter of the Florida Alliance for Retired Americans and the Democratic Women’s Club will co-sponsor an 18th Congressional District Candidate Forum, followed by a program on Social Security, on Saturday, May 5 at Brogue’s Down Under (621 Lake Avenue, Lake Worth).
Guests should plan to arrive at 11 a.m. to order food. The candidate forum starts at 11:30 p.m. featuring Democratic candidates Pamela Keith and Lauren Baer.
Following the candidates, Tony Fransetta, president emeritus of the Florida Alliance for Retired Americans, will present, “The Attack on Social Security, What We Can Do.”
