Patty Shukla, a nationally known children’s singer, songwriter and performer, recently visited Wellington Elementary School’s Pre-K classes. This interactive, engaging show brought the children to their feet. Most of the children were familiar with Shukla’s songs because they dance with them during their music and movement time. Children were called up on the stage with her and were asked to act out their favorite animals. This is not the first time Shukla had performed on the cafeteria stage at the school. She has been visiting the school for the last several years. The children (and teachers) were excited to see her in person. She even stayed after and took photos with the classes.
