Wellington will host a groundbreaking ceremony for the Water Treatment Plant renewal and replacement project on Wednesday, Sept. 5 at 9 a.m. The ceremony will take place at the plant site, located at 1100 Wellington Trace.
The Wellington Village Council and Village Manager Paul Schofield will address the construction and overall scope of the project, followed by a shovel ceremony.
This is a community event, and Wellington residents are welcome to attend. Those interested must RSVP by Sept. 3 to communications@wellingtonfl.gov.
