Lion Country Safari recently supported the outstanding work of Operation 300 by donating $2,166 to the organization.

The donation is as a result of a promotional partnership with Lion Country Safari and Chick-fil-A. The check was presented to Operation 300 at Lion Country Safari on July 18.

For the promotion, Lion Country Safari placed discount admission coupons in participating Chick-fil-A locations during the month of March. A portion of the proceeds from the coupons redeemed was donated to Operation 300.

“Chick-fil-A prides itself on being a community partner,” Rob Rabenecker said. “We are proud to be a small part of the great things that Operation 300 represents, and we support the work that they do in the community throughout the year.”

Operation 300 is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing support to families of fallen soldiers in honor of SOC (SEAL) Aaron Vaughn.

Founded in 2012, Operation 300 has been offering the children of fallen soldiers the opportunity to enjoy childhood to the fullest through adventure camps that honor the spirit of SOC Aaron Vaughn.
