Royal Palm Ice Cream celebrated its one-year anniversary by giving away a free scoop of ice cream for two hours and then free pizza and cake on Sunday, July 22. Ice cream was half price for the afternoon. Kids could get their faces painted for free. Owner David McCarty said it was a way to give back to the community.
