Temple B’nai Jacob of Wellington will host the League of Women Voters on Sunday, Oct. 7 at 11 a.m. at center court in the original Wellington Mall (12794 W. Forest Hill Blvd.) for the program “Know Your Ballot; Understand the Amendments; Vote Smart.”
The League of Women Voters will explain all the proposed amendments on the November ballot. Election day is just around the corner and Florida ballots will contain 13 proposed amendments to the Florida Constitution.
Several amendments contain proposals that are unrelated to each other. These are “all or nothing” propositions, so it is extremely important for voters to understand the issues and learn exactly what they will be voting for, or against. Everyone in the community is invited. There is no charge to attend, but a non-perishable item for the local food pantry or a small donation is appreciated.
